Job application data

If a job application is submitted directly through RemoteQuota, we may process:

  • Resume/CV
  • Any information voluntarily included in the application

If a job listing uses an external application link, applicant data is submitted directly to the external employer website and is not processed or stored by RemoteQuota.

Technical and security data

We may collect:

  • Browser and device information
  • Login activity
  • Basic usage and security logs

This information is used for security, fraud prevention, spam prevention, and platform stability.


3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under GDPR, we process personal data based on:

We use third-party providers to operate the platform.

Main subprocessors include:

  • Job Boardly — platform infrastructure and hosting
  • Hetzner — infrastructure hosting provider used by Job Boardly
  • AMAZON SES - transactional email delivery provider. 
  • Cloudflare — content delivery network and security protection
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Railway — hosting infrastructure
  • Technical anti-spam and security tools

These providers process data under contractual obligations and appropriate data protection safeguards.

We do not sell personal data.


6. International Data Transfers

RemoteQuota uses Job Boardly infrastructure, which may process data on servers located in the United States.

Where required, international transfers are protected through appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to operate the service and comply with legal obligations.

Typical retention periods may include:

  • Employer account data: while account remains active
  • Applicant data submitted through the platform: up to 12 months unless deleted earlier
  • Billing records: as required by applicable tax laws
  • Security logs: limited retention for fraud and abuse prevention
